About Anna

BA Studio Art and Art History College of Charleston, Charleston, SC

Anna has taught art for 7 years in the Memphis City Schools and the Hutchison School. She is currently a stay at home mom for her two boys, and she paints in her studio.  Her most recent show was a group exhibition in December at Theatre Memphis.  Anna says this about her work:

As a wife, mother, and artist, I am a constant problem solver. Problems are good things. In my work, I layer images from nature, the home, and other objects surrounding me that lend encouragement in solving the problem. Such images represent people that have given support or made an impact, the formative memories of childhood, interests and passions of myself and others, and life’s obstacles and challenges that present themselves for a reason.
